A Golden Bison is an individual who attended Howard University or graduated from Howard University 50+ years ago and meets all other requirements for the Howard University Alumni Association.

Howard University Alumni Club of Greater New York City recognizes a Golden Bison possesses University history, talents, and resources that will assist with the advancement of the University’s financial, academic, enrollment, and alumni donations goals.

Howard University Alumni Club of Greater New York City further recognizes a Golden Bison can provide new and creative strategies and opportunities with regard to volunteering, fundraising, donations, membership, and event planning.
